My pianist has been taken ill and tomorrow’s recital, 1.10pm at St Mary’s Cathedral (entry free), will now be a performance of the Virtuoso Violin concert, with David Worswick.

It’s the last day of the Fringe festival - if you’re about to leave the city and you haven’t yet seen Virtuoso Violin then do come and join us! Cathedral website here.

Oh, and we’ve found we have several hours free in the afternoon before an education project we’re doing in the evening. Unlikely we can resist the temptation of a little ‘outdoor performance’ on Princes Street or the Royal Mile… any special location or music requests?
