Imogen Holst News: Concert Tickets Now Available
Filed Under News |
If you’ve been following the saga of our Imogen Holst recording, you’ll know it’s not all gone to plan…
Recording woes aside, the concerts are going ahead nonetheless, and we’ll be performing in Cheltenham (2 November), Swansea (3rd November), Aldeburgh (4th November), and London Hampstead (7th November).

Programme will include three of Imogen Holst’s works, the Duo for Violin and Cello, the String Trio, and Imo’s Viola and Piano piece (except in Aldeburgh, where Tommy will perform the Fall of the Leaf instead).
The programme also includes Frank Bridge’s Piano Quartet, and Britten’s Cello Sonata in C, and Suite for Violin and Piano (performed by Olly Coates and me respectively, with pianist Daniel Swain). The Violist is Tom Hankey.
Tickets you can get now on 020 7060 0607 or online, and for all you far-away people who don’t live on these shores, we hope to webcast the Aldeburgh concert in November. Full concert details at ImogenHolst.com or on my schedule page.

CD News - well, it’s not great really, as you’ll have seen from the press release. But some help has been offered, and we hope to be able to get things back on the road later this month. Assuming it all works out, which I am fairly confident it will, we will be aiming for a February 2008 release. Fingers crossed!
