The Kindness of Strangers

It is impossible for us to know, sometimes, how our actions affect others. Sometimes it is those we don’t know so well who can really see what we are trying to do.
The last few weeks have been very difficult; having to try and refinance the CD after the burglary, balance all the demands of a growing project and ensemble, and yet still find enough time to practice!
But one very kind supporter, a reader of this blog, has generously offered support, that will without doubt allow us to complete the CD early in the New Year. We have also just heard that the Britten-Pears Foundation will make a donation towards the costs of our live concerts in November too.
I would like to acknowledge our sincere gratitude for this (very timely) assistance; you give us not just the means, but also the strength to push onwards. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
