Radiohead Reimagined - Live in London

New Album Launch in London this Friday, 22nd May!

I’ve been heavily involved in the super-successful Radiohead Reimagined show from London Concertante, and after several months of touring, we’re finally bringing it to London on Friday 22nd May for an album launch at KOKO, the legendary venue in Camden.

The album itself is now available on all streaming platforms, and it’s also out on Vinyl as well as CD. Here’s a recent live performance of Burn the Witch from A Moon Shaped Pool:

The show takes some of Radiohead’s greatest tracks and brings them into a whole new sound world. It’s very much a reimagining rather than a tribute – the arrangements are faithful to the song structures, but the instrumental textures, not least the addition of a Bass Clarinet, give a whole new dimension to the music.

After recording the album at British Grove Studios last year, we’ve been touring the show extensively around the country, and the response has been equally amazing from Radiohead fans and non-fans alike.

It’s been a really emotional experience for many people, and I’m not surprised – some of the songs are searingly intense and powerful, others are deeply reflective and cathartic, and a couple are even – yes even for Radiohead! – a lot of fun! It’ll be great to finally bring the show to London, with a particularly virtuosic team of players including Coco Azoitei, Jaga Klimaszewska, Samy Okuma-Chin, Alex Wakeling, Judit Kelemen, Bryony James, Seb Pennar, Hannah Shilvock, Nicolette Chen, Tori Azzalini-Machecler and Isaac Harari, compered by our cello-impresario-visionary Chris Grist. In a space like Koko, it should be an epic night.
